Nestled right in the community, General Public is the perfect laid back, casual, urban space for your next birthday celebration, corporate sundowner, parent social night or a just because catch up with the crew.

We have a number of different spaces to cater for all types of functions, whether it’s a stand up casual event or sit down dinner,  small gathering or a birthday blowout we’ve got you covered.  Our dedicated functions team will take care of all your function requirements to ensure your function is a memorable success.

Whatever the occasion, General Public has a functions package to suit your needs. Both Scarborough and Inglewood have a semi private area to host your event, with the option of a private bar & bartender. All of our packages are available for a minimum of 10 guests and can be tailored to suit your specific needs.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • CONFIRMATION: A function is not confirmed until we are in receipt of the signed booking form with credit card details provided, terms and conditions are read and a confirmation email has been
  • MINIMUM SPEND: General Public reserves the right to request a minimum spend depending on factors such as; time/date of the year, area required and number of guests.  General Public will advise of minimum spends during the booking process.
  • FINAL NUMBERS: Final numbers must be confirmed seven days prior to the function date.  Should the final numbers fall below the minimum requirements, the difference will be charged in  room hire/area fees.
  • OTHER FUNCTIONS/CUSTOMERS: We reserve the right to book and host concurrent functions/customers in available areas within the venue.
  • LIQUOR ACT: Under WA law, all guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian and supervised at all times.  All guests must be 18  or over to consume alcohol and are expected to provide legal identification where necessary.
  • RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL: General Public abides by WA guidelines on responsible service of alcohol as per our house policy.  The venue reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any patron deemed to be showing signs of intoxication.
